The QAFF2025 Model Casting was nothing short of spectacular! Excitement, nerves, and fierce runway walks filled the Broadbeach Cultural Centre on February 1st, 2025, as hundreds of hopefuls strutted their stuff in front of industry pros, all vying for a coveted spot in Queensland Arts & Fashion Festival’s epic runway shows. With 700 eager applicants, the competition was fierce, but after the first round of casting, only 200 models made the cut. The final selection was intense, and in the end, 130 incredible models secured their place on the QAFF2025 runway—a dream come true for many!
Picture a room buzzing with energy, cameras flashing, judges scribbling notes, and models bringing their A-game with confidence, attitude, and style. It was a fashion lover’s paradise! QAFF has built its rep as Australia’s largest fashion creatives incubator, and this casting proved why. It wasn’t just about walking the runway—it was about celebrating diversity, creativity, and individuality. Whether it was bold struts, infectious smiles, or jaw-dropping poses, every model brought something unique to the table.
“Watching these models own the runway was inspiring! The talent this year is next level,” said Kristina Savka, Casting Panel at QAFF. With the final lineup set, the countdown to QAFF2025’s five runway shows has officially begun. Expect cutting-edge fashion, fresh faces, and an explosion of creativity that will redefine the Queensland fashion scene!
The organisation grew into something so inspiring for the community. We are excited to amplify the model training as there is nothing like this in Australia.
